Association Coffee, Creechurch Lane, Aldgate

Beards, suits and tepid coffee.

Flat white £2.80. It was like warm. Tasted  fine. Chocolate brownie with it brought the total to £5, and was completely squidgy, not my style.

Coffee shop was pretty empty despite being 1pm on a Monday; maybe 10 suits in pairs at tables but felt empty given the amount of space. Does it suffer from being down a side street? Or from having a logo and outside which don't say what it is?

Sleek, dark decor; kind of city sterile.
