Il Molino, York Way, Battersea

Italian, slightly weary cafe.

Flat white £1.90, except it wasn't a flat white - it was a large mug of milky coffee which barely tasted of coffee.

Mixed, second hand chairs and tables were cosy (a few too many?), except it smelt a bit. Counter service with a queue at 5pm on a Saturday (though at least it was open at 5pm!) - I think she said she'd bring it over, but quietly, without a smile, so I didn't hear.  Counter was a bit cluttered.

Lots of shelves of produce, some of if interesting, but there was so much stock it seemed odd (and I wouldn't buy it - how long has it been there?)

Toilet was through the kitchen, tiny, with two odd flimsy doors.

Seats outside on the side street - nice in the sun.

Seemed fixable with an injection of energy.
